Are netbooks dying? Well let's hope not. As gay as those devices might look, I force myself to believe they are far better than pads or that thing with no buttons. Most of you must feel disappointed at the fact I rarely write.

I somewhat miss my former job, and the quirkyness of that place, aww and the backbiting, the backstabbing, the spying! ohh hehehe, who can forget the Lebanese embezzler, the psychotic Boss, the lost Artists (really really lost I mean to a point one artist actually believe erection and injection are one and the same thing), ahh poor artists! How I pity you all. Okay I lied! I only miss one thing and that sweet thing made me go to work for last three months! Or was it four?

I always write something for my so called blog, I don’t get to post them for one of following reasons;

· It’s too personal,

· I’m distracted by something or someone, and decide that I’ll finish it later; obviously I never get around to it

So where was I? So much had happened in last 6 weeks, I was in Singapore, Malaysia and Sri-Lanka.

I was suppose to drop by Myanmar and Bangladesh, Dad was very persistent especially towards Myanmar, but was too lazy and sorta regretted towards the end for not listening to him.

But I despise Bangladesh, so I was more than happy not going there.

Going back to my holidays, well I wouldn’t exactly call it a holiday, that’s like saying I went home for the holiday; yeah..wait, that actually does make sense. What I’m trying to say is that it didn’t actually feel like a holiday. It felt more like I took a trip down to my local swimming pool.

Anyway, Singapore was shit load fun and expensive. I wanted to stay little longer but I ran out of things to do. Everyone kept insisting I go shopping. Shopping? Really? shopping has become an entertainment? Okay shop for some things you want, need or even sometimes don’t need. You will eventually get bored, right? Unless, if you’re going to stores to annoy the sales people, which is another favorite activity of mine; my preferred victims are electronic, gadget and camera salespeeps.

Malaysia was a bomb too! I wish i can write about it, Maybe I will eventually

Sri-Lanka was an experience, I wouldn’t have enjoyed as much if Sab wasn’t around, maybe I’ll write about that someday too.

Lately I’ve been reading quite alot, all in diverse but yet related fields.

And I’ve been researching on topics that most of you would find it hard to swallow, and think i'm insane..probably you already do :P

oh well it’s okay, it’s not really your fault.

Anyways, I’m currently reading book called ‘BOOK OF THE GREAT TRAILS AND TRIBULATIONS’ it’s a 700 page book talks about the prophecies that have been fulfilled or yet to be fulfilled.

Again please keep in mind that that are a lot more prophesies that has already taken place or will take place in the future, and their classified as small and big signs.

This following paragraph I found quite worthy of note, and it is as follows.

Okay, I may have just made that up, and it’s true! sooner or later we all have to pay for our wrong doings and sins, (and sometimes bad investments or orange juice squeezed wrong).

I have been doing something for last few months, completely (I mean COMPLETELY!) aware of it’s consequences it will lead to (which it led to). I obviously ignored it by putting my fingers in my ears and screaming “lalalala!”.

I have been kinda occupied with work, with usual challenges nothing I can’t handle…I wish those assholes would throw bigger towards me, like a motha’efing Dragon or some shit, so I can choke the damn thing with my bare hands (no offence intended towards dragon lovers).

Ahh..the satisfaction..

I realized few things, well more like a reminder what the world is like. For example, money is one of the most important things, if you want to live comfortably or is it?. The people you trust or have faith in the most may not always live up to your perception.

How you’re judged by your race and nationality. When I meet clients, I always get the WTF! Expression when I tell him where I’m from. Just yesterday, met a prospective client (Arab Canadian) I talked to him for an hour in Arabic and English. Near the end , I told him where I’m from…the dude almost fell outta his chair.

Shit! Did I say almost?

Those who are dating or newly in relationship with a dude/chick, are not the same people I use to know. Which is to be expected, and I completely understand, cuz I did the same thing.

On a positive note, I have a friend where I never expected, quite surprising although I didn’t speak to that person for lil close to 9years. I feel like I’ve known him/her forever. I couldn’t be more thankful, that nakama! owes a huge dinner!

I need to teach myself how to enjoy the moment rather than looking at the end as a benefit. It’s a pity I know my own flaws and can’t fix it...not just yet :D

Hello! I just got back from the gym, as much I missed going to gym..I don’t like this one very much.

Back in Malaysia I initially wanted to join the gym, cuz I wanted to be fit and to be honest, I don’t think I ever reached that aspiration. So I joined this gym here in land of Saudi, in hopes of reaching my unfinished goal to sexiniess.

So what are the similarities and differences between Saudi and Malaysian Gym. Well obvious similarities are they both got , equipments (more in Malaysia), they both charge 160, sauna, shower, and people.

And the difference, Malaysian one is at least 10 times bigger than Saudi one, tons of more equipments, no fucking treadmill in here, water is 1 buck!, and NO WOMEN!! Yeah obviously lah, oh yeah! They charge for towels! No free towels ;(. I hate u Saudi gym hee..

It’s 9am and me feeling waaaide awake.

I just watched 2 movies, and I kinda enjoyed em, I actually enjoyed one more than the other.

I watched something about the world standing still, with Jennifer Connelly and Keanu Reeves. It was definitely below my useless unrewarded nonsensical expectations, and I had a lot riding on this movie! I got my favorite couch, wore my lucky boxers, Keanu’s #1 Fan Flag, and even got myself burned popcorn which I’m pretty sure it was still edible! nehoo

Okay, It wasn’t as bad as “the Happening” (DAMN YOU M.NIGHT! YOU OWE 10 bux! Or was it 11?). One of the bad guys (or “supposed” bad guy) looked like the robot from the original movie..but this one was a bit curvy. Which I initially thought it was a dick move, and later changed my mind when it turned in to killer metal super robot bees that chomp through anything and everything. Oh oh and the bees poop out other bees too! How cool and disgusting is that?? Wait, they don’t get to mate?
The most annoying actor of the alien movie was that Smith’s kid. Okay, maybe not his acting, his character was a major douchebag. All in all, the movie is okiez, ahm me rating is B-

The second movie was Midnight meat train, a low budget horror movie. I heard about it few weeks ago, and obviously from the title you can guess a little. People dying in a midnight train yadi yada.. So as I watched it anyway (with a very very low expectation). OH! Come on!, I mean how many low budget horror movies did you actually like? Okay fine, Cabin fever was awesome! That’s it! Usually low budget horror movies suck.

But this one however was actually pretty good; I enjoyed a bit more than the alien Keanu movie. It had it’s funny, romantic, trilling, suspense, dramatic, semi-nude, and action moments. We should name genres. We shall call it Coachornu!

It had some okay actors, like brook shield and Vinnie Jones (usually plays an awesome psycho). That’s it for now

But I consider myself one of your constituents because what you do or say will affect me and my country as well.
I welcome your promise to change. Certainly your country, the United States of America need a lot of changes.

That is because America and Americans have become the best hated people in the world. Even Europeans dislike your arrogance. Yet you were once admired and liked because you freed a lot of countries from conquest and subjugation.
It is the custom on New Year's day for people to make resolutions. You must have listed your good resolutions already. But may I politely suggest that you also resolve to do the following in pursuit of Change.
1) Stop killing people. The United States is too fond of killing people in order to achieve its objectives. You call it war, but today's wars are not about professional soldiers fighting and killing each other. It is about killing people, ordinary innocent people by the hundreds of thousands. Whole countries will be devastated.
War is primitive, the cavemen's way of dealing with a problem. Stop your arms build up and your planning for future wars.
2) Stop indiscriminate support of Israeli killers with your money and your weapons. The planes and the bombs killing the people of Gaza are from you.
3) Stop applying sanctions against countries which cannot do the same against you.
In Iraq your sanctions killed 500,000 children through depriving them of medicine and food. Others were born deformed.
What have you achieved with this cruelty? Nothing except the hatred of the victims and right-thinking people.
4) Stop your scientists and researchers from inventing new and more diabolical weapons to kill more people more efficiently.
5) Stop your arms manufacturers from producing them. Stop your sales of arms to the world. It is blood money that you earn. It is un-Christian.
6) Stop trying to democratize all the countries of the world. Democracy may work for the United States but it does not always work for other countries.

7) Stop the casinos which you call financial institutions. Stop hedge funds, derivatives and currency trading. Stop banks from lending non-existent money by the billions.

9) Show respect for the United Nations.
I have many other resolutions for change which I think you should consider and undertake.
But I think you have enough on your plate for this 2009th year of the Christian Era.

2008 had many ups and downs, well mostly melancholies and pure disasters. And I really hope 2009 will be a good year.

My Chinese friends warned me, and told me that people who were born in the year of Ox will wish they wanna die in 2008. They were so very much wrong! I just wanted to survive! Dodging all those flying arrows…yeah it was hard. I did get hit few times..hey me still breathing, well barely..enough to type this post..

Okay it was a bittersweet year, more of bitterguord (is that how u spell it?) eh?

Some highlights of the year;

Broke up with my high school sweet heart, who definitely left a good mark in my life, there are so much things to say ( again goods things obviously), but I don’t think I can write everything in one night. Screw one night! Give me a life time! I still probably won’t able to finish, well I made my share of blunder-ness

Went clubbing after many years, didn’t enjoy it, and did something I don’t think any soul would be proud of. Everytime I think about it... It breaks my heart, and I wish I could go back in time and break past mamo’s fucking teeth.

Made some new friends and wish I made more, and I really miss all my friends. I miss Sabby, Yasir (I just talked him), Jumn, Janice, Kimmy, Veron, Shaun, Christine, the other Christine, Fong, Tseng Yang, Calvin, Xin yi, the other Xin yi, Alvin, Yee Leng, Calvin, Jeff, Arfian, Jazzy, Nette, Sheila, Tristan, Christina, Jackie, Winnie (all 4), yew Joe and few more retards at the gym n school. Story of the day, I haven’t shaved my beard since last Thursday, not that I had any plans to grow them, just merely out of major slothfulness. I’m telling ya! It’s some retarded conspiracy shit!

Back to the story of my own and only sexy beard, so today (or was it yesterday? Maybe the day before.. ahh never mind). So my second cousin’s wife wanted me to visit her, I’m not particularly fond of them, and the last time I saw them was around 8 years ago, not that I hate them or anything, I just don’t like them, why you ask? We all have our reasons *smiles*

So I needed to shave, since I didn’t want to go as a Sasquatch. I started looking for barber’s place,. So I find a decent looking barber shop; I go in, I see the barber cutting some other dudes hair, I wait for him to finish, approximately 10 minutes barber dude was done butchering the Arab dude’s hair. I initially spoke in Arabic, and told him I needed a shave, and then I heard him speak Bengali, and I switched to Bengali and carried light conversations later.

So I put my laptop aside, sat down, laid my head on headrest. He grabs a clean looking cloth and wraps it around my neck.

So he takes out a fresh batch shaving blades, takes one out, and sanitizes it..

He puts a wet warm towel over my face, and rubs lightly, grabs the Nivea cream, and takes some out and puts it all over my face. I thought to myself shouldn’t he putting shaving cream around my face? Oh well let’s see where this goes..

So after Nivea which I found found it a bit strange, I decided to ignore him and try to watch some Bengali TV. While my eyes trying to reach the box with pictures and sounds, he takes something and rubs it around my face again, it certainly didn’t look like a shaving cream, the cream was transparent, and smelled familiar. He grabs another huge lump of it and rubs it again around my beard. I look at the container he’s getting all cream from, I was like HOLLY fatty boom boom tamiaahh!! I know what that is! It’s a fucking hair gel!

Okay I said to myself, do I ask this dude, why the hell is he shaving my face off with hair gel? Or should I just ignore and wait for my throat to get slit by this maniac? Or join in the insanity and see where this goes…OH well I decided to join and not say anything and see where all this can lead to. So he shaves and shaves. Then 3^rd lump of hair gel around my face and shaves again.

He washed my face again with another warm towel, and asked me whether I want a facial, I was like EH? Facial? His like since your Bengali, I’ll give you a free facial, I normally charge 30 bux, I’m like hmmm…I said okayyy *reluctantly of course* I was expecting Vaseline all over my face this time, but no, it was actually quite pleasant, I had the steamy thing blowing steam towards my face and stuff, buncha creams and yeah. 30 min later it was done (may have been shorter).

Finally, after everything I asked him how much? He said 10! Can u believe it! He said 10! I always paid 5! Stupid dumass! Charging me 10 for pasting hair gel! What? He said it’s a free facial! Hehe yeah yeah I paid him 10 bux

I remember packing that big black box (with gray stripes). As I was taking out some of my shirts and pants, most of them still had Snowy’s fur (my cat). Everything I took outta that bag had good memories, like the shirts and tees I bought with Sabby or Yasir, shirts and pants they bought me. I wish I can travel time and go back 3 years, would do it all over again! And repeat this year bit different.

Anyway, I miss home (Malaysia), I wish I owned that apartment. I miss my cat, I wonder what’s he up to?

I wrote this post last week, but didn't have time to upload it :)

Hello once again, its been 3 days since I started looking for a job, if you read some of my previous posts, you would know that Luck hasn’t been that nice to me.. I woke up at 6 am; I took a shower, wore my best shirt and pants, baptized my self on cologne. Than I realized I forgot to wear my lucky undies, so I took off my pants and wore my green boxers, and followed by pants.

Got my 20 copies of my resumes among other documents and my shaving cream (I forgot to take it out since I got back from land of Malaysia), and went to a mirror and said to me self you ready? Let’s go!

I wanted to apply at hotels first, specifically in marketing and sales department, and the first hotel I went to was Radisson, I was a little nervous considering this was my first ever time I actually went out looking for a job.

Took a cab to the hotel; reached hotel; after asking for direction towards HR office. I found the tiny office and entered.

Filipino dude smoking Dunhill lights, greets me and asked me to come in.

He understood that I was looking for a job, I hand him my 2 page resume, he reads and reads, and looked bit confused. And I thought to myself, shit! I made a mistake somewhere in there (and later I really wished I made a mistake in my resume). He says wow, you’re from Bangladesh? And you speak so many languages? I’ve never met a Bangladeshi person who speaks 5 languages *I gloated a bit* (I actually speak 6 lingo) and he also says wow, you also been to Malaysia? Asked me how is Malaysia, I said it’s a nice place (I lied… it’s an awesome place).

He “looked” happy with my resume, and asked me when can I start working? Obviously I said immediately and he hands me the employment form and I fill it up.

Few minutes later, a bald Saudi dude walks in, with huge stainless steel coffee mug, huge aviator glasses (yeah aviators!), on jeans and t-shirt. Filipino dude says wait, my boss will interview you. I nodded and I said look I don’t need to transfer my sponsorship (something all foreigners must deal and live with in Saudi).

Filipino dude passed my resume to the Saudi, and I waited for a response. The Saudi dude says something to the Filipino dude (which I kinda guessed later on), the Filipino dude comes back to me and says;

I’m sorry we can’t hire you; we have a new company policy that tells us not to hire Bangladeshis. I was speechless, I didn’t know whether to argue or storm out. Few minutes earlier the dude couldn’t wait to hire me, obviously the Saudi dude told him not to hire me.

I really hated my self for carrying a Bengali passport, and I wished I was a resident in Saudi with my other passports. Anyway, I said thank you for your time. The Filipino dude was nice enough to give me his email addresses and his phone number and asked me to contact or email him by coming Saturday.

I walked out and wondered, how many of these companies will reject me because of my passport.

So let’s go to the next hotel! Mercure! I approached the reception and asked him to direct me towards HR. and he pointed towards the parking lot. With a bit of hassle, I eventually found the underground parking lot and I walked in. I see a security booth inside. I asked him in Arabic for the direction again. He asked me why? I was like obviously applying for a job. He was like wait let me know the HR department (security has been tightened in hotels after Bombay blasts).

The security dude talks on the phone and informs them that there is a possible candidate. Then the security dude calls me and asks for my nationality? And obviously I had to say Bangladesh and he goes back to the phone, mumbles a bit and gets back to me. He says the HR guys are busy now, you can leave you resume with me.

Fucking hell, I don’t even get to enter your office because I carry a Bengali passport, man this degree of racism/discrimination is Fucking disgusting.

Then I went to my third and fourth hotel, the receptionists took my resumes and told me the HR department are still on holiday.

My fifth hotel of the day was Marriot, I asked the military forces for directions towards HR, they didn’t know and so went to the receptionist, and he told me it’s in the basement.

Reached HR office, I see a Filipino and an Indian dude. I filled up the employment form, about 45 minutes later the HR manger calls me in (again a Saudi). Asked me few questions, this guy looked bit okie, and he said he’ll call me within 2 weeks and will let me know.

Sixth hotel was Move’n pick, saw my resume and asked me to go back on Thursday.

Seventh hotel, habitat asked me to go back the next day, I met an ex-lecturer working there.

By now I was running outta hotels to go to.

Yasir came to pick me up from Marriot and we picked up Adnan, bitched about fucked up the day was. Made few more copies of my copies, Yasir got his beard back, And ate at Al-Baik, and smoked few sticks with em and went home.

So next day, I went back to habitat hotel, I saw another friend working there, I was bit confident that I’d get a job here, after a 30 min interview, he did tell me I can get a job at that place, but not in sales but as concierge and I wasn’t allowed to take tips! Hey at least they offered me a job.

I also went to Proctor and Gamble (P&G), So I walked in, got through the security check, reached the front office, asked him for HR. and the dude points at a Saudi dude, and says that’s the HR manager.

I approached the Saudi and asked in Arabic, are you’re the HR manager? He said yes, I’m like I’m like I’m looking for a job. Then he asks me where am I from? Because its hard for them to determine where I’m from with my Arabic accent (cuz I got the makkan accent), I replied in Arabic, min Bangladesh.

So he says, we don’t hire Bangladeshis in the office, only in factory plants. How do you respond to that?

FUCK YOU! YOUR LOSS!

Newayz, I’m still applying for jobs, I have my shops to keep me busy..so during the day I look for a jobs, and after 4pm I run our computer shop.

I’ve been here for little a week, and I lost track of the number of bad luck I had in this country, well actually my journey to the land of kicked in the crotch an get chased around for an ass rape by Unsexy luck initiated in Malaysia, from the day I was “suppose” to leave and come to this beautiful land of Saudi (Did I just call this land beautiful? Oh GOD! Whats happening to me? GOTTA LEAVE BEFORE I START CALLING THIS PLACE MY MOTHER LAND OR SOME SHIT), where was I? oh yes bad “lucks”, I’m gonna try to count the number of bad “lucks” I’ve had so far.

Bad Luck 1: I was in the land of Petaling Jaya, Bandar Sunway, Selangor Malaysia Boleh! Before Sabby left, I lost my precious sexy white with fine delicate orange stripe card reader which I bought less than 3 weeks ago.

Bad luck 2: After Sabby left, I couldn’t find a cab that will go towards Tristan’s place

Bad luck 3: At the bank, I wasn’t sure if the old lady behind the counter was hitting on me, because I couldn’t quite understand what she was saying.

Bad luck 4: I was waiting at Subang Square and I asked my friend to pick me up from Subang Parade (I know it’s not a bad luck, merely my own stupidity)

Bad luck 5: In the airport, (if you read and understood my previous blabbering posts) this where things really get close to getting raped in the ass by “Unsexy Lucks” the information lady tells me they cancelled/re-scheduled without any notification.

Bad luck 6: The PNR number on my ticket was wrong, after fifteen minutes of giving all the damned number on that damned sheet of paper. And later to find out that my flight was 3 days earlier. Oh I also learned to name a country with any letters.

Bad luck 7: The Mc’d session, where I realized that my visa to Saudi Expired and this where I realized Unsexy lucks was not only out to rape me, but it also had two pink machetes on it’s hands.

Bad luck 8: I wanted to sprint to Saudi embassy, and later realized that it was too early, I mean late, they embassy was already closed (they close at 3PM, it was nearing 4pm when supposedly noticed my visa expired) eh?

Bad luck 9: I reached Saudi Airlines (A.k.a Saudia) got a ticket for Friday, 27^th of October 2008, or Arabic Calendar (Hijri Calendar) 30^th of Zul-Qaida.

Bad Luck 10: I realized did not expire, but it expires on the 30^th of Zul-ul-Qaida (I know your probably thinking I pulled another magical stupidity trick, and I some how managed to read the dates wrong, but the stupid Arab stamped over another stamp.

Bad luck 11: Almost got my face bitten off by racist dog named Nommie or Nommy. (and later I thought of ways to kill her, sorry very much)

All the Bad “lucks” above took place in a span of less than six hours.

Bad luck 11: a friend’s in hospitable parents, but awesome friend

Bad Luck12: went to Saudi Embassy

Bad luck 13: Saudi Embassy dim-witted friendly bastards took over 3 hours with my passport and later told me they can’t help me

Bad luck 14: my cousin’s and her husband found a ticket to Saudi, flying on that day it self.

Bad luck 15: Reached Saudi.

Bad luck 16: my sexy 1 Terra External HD stopped wrong after few, I assume it got kicked around by my one of many nuisance siblings, it will cost me 2000RM/SR to fix it. The HD cost 390RM/SR

Bad Luck 17: My car broke down on the way to Makkah from jeddah, (about 76km road),

Bad Luck 18: My brother and I went to buy water, n the dude would not sell us water cuz we are expatriates, and yes he told us that only Saudis can buy water.

Okay, I’m getting tired of typing now, will stop here for now, hopefully be back 2morrow. Got a headache,

Ahh what a boring day, its been 4 days since I got back, no friends to hangout with, I can’t wait to go to Jeddah, at least I know some bastards there. Hoping to go tomorrow. Cultural Hypocrisy

I just got outta the mosque (yes I try to pray), and I noticed a Chinese man, well something about him didn’t seem right, particularly his moustache, his hair, and the way he dressed, and the way he spoke to his other Chinese buddies.

He had a soft moustache, wore Saudi attire known as Thobe, and spoke quite vulgar in Arabic (Makkan accent). I observed the crowed some more, I see an African and Burmese dudes with similar fashion, I wondered why? Okay it may make sense since they are in Saudi for so long, they eventually started to imitate Arabs, well in this case particularly Saudis.

Okay fine, they stayed here for so long blah blah blah, what about Malaysia? All the ethnic groups over there have their own style. Like the Indians, got their funky haircuts which if you look close its actually a road map. the Chinese got there ahm uhh uniqueness which was stolen from Japanese and Koreans, and of course the Malays (possibly Indonesians), wear super tight jeans that reveals male camel toes.

Okay I’m not saying everyone sticks to their own style, I’ve seen Chinese and Indian wearing Baju Kurongs and Kebayas, (any women can look hot in keybayas mmm..), but I’d say the ethnic groups in Malaysia got to stick to their cultural individuality and heritage. Which is definitely a good thing. Where as in Saudi, everyone tries to look the same and its boring
Anyway, my favourite cultural attires are kebayas, chongsum (ooo another hot attire mmmm), shalwar khamiz (Indian and paki), and few more that are quite hard for me to remember cuz I’m busy thinking of kebayays and chongsum.
Oh Burmese women wear kebayas too :P, its been a while since I’ve seen Burmese women with kebayas, the ones here act too Arabish,

Saris or Sharis as the Bengalis call it, are not my favourite thing, only one girl made it look hot, the rest hmm not so much.

Feeling lost

I’m feeling little better than yesterday, probably because I got to talk to someone after 3 dayz :D okay not 3 days, hmm..more like around 2 days...maybe less than 2days. Well if you read my previous post you’d know I’m in Saudi, enjoying noisy streets, rowdy, loud and rude people.
I woke up at 8am, which would be considered too early in this country, and I called Malaysia, usually when I wake up I’m usually grouchy and grumpy. The call kinda cheered me up.

I had plans to go to Australia, and continue with my master in hopes of applying for PR in that country.

In order to apply for a student visa I need to show quite a lot of money. Which isn’t a problem. You see the money has to be in your bank account for at least 3 months.
So dad said he will deposit the cash in a month for the visa, and since I can’t go for the Feb intake (2 intakes a year, Feb and July), I’m hoping I can make it for the July intake.
So what are my plans for next 6-7 months? Well hopefully work

But Working in this country as an expat is close to pulling a pink bunny outta ur ass. Yes it’s that hard, cuz as an expatriate you need have to be under a sponsor. So transferring sponsorship is no laughing matter.

Tonight I’ll call few people and ask them if they can help me get a job at their company or something. and I really hope it works out.

HI, In this post I shall try to explain my journey to this fucktarted position I call home.

Wednesday 26th November 2008, really sad for me, knowing that I won’t get to see a person who I’ve been for weeks before that. I was sad, hurt, confused and everything turned from worst to fucked sideways after Sabby left the house.

My flight to Saudi was on Wednesday 5pm, my friend Xinyi offered to drive me to the airport. Sabrina left the house, I was all alone, again I was sad, and going around taking a last look at apartment and saying my final goodbyes to my inanimate stuff that I had to leave behind. oh I also took pix of the apartment. Ah our beautiful apartment, my cat pee infested bed, oh my awesome messy rooms, Sabby’s huge room, Yasir’s room, the cupboards, the tables, lamps, the balcony, the water heater, oh the water heater!!! The dining table, the fridge, the chairs, the couch set, the monkey bar sabby bought me! I’m gonna miss all of em. I will surely miss the apartment, and all the clothes and stuff I had to give away, oh I sold my tall lamp for 25bux, and I miss it so much.

At 9 something Sabrina left the apartment, and around 10 Xinyi came and took my luggage, I couldn’t go with her because I had to go to Tristan’s place and give him some of Yasir’s Stuff, and I also had to run to the bank and change my mailing address.

So I went to Tristan’s place, and did the bank address change thing and Xinyi picked me up from the Subang Square and we decided to head off to the airport few hours before check in counter opens, cuz few friends said they might come to see me off.

So on the way to the airport, Xinyi and I were reminisced about our last few years and our college, and bitched how I’m not looking forward to going back to Saudi. I called Sabby every now and then, telling her where me is.

So little less than an hour later we reached the airport, I remember telling Xinyi I hate Malaysian Airport when I’m leaving, but I Love it when I land here. So we started looking for the check in counter, so we can be prepared when the counter opens.

But We couldn’t find it, so we approached the information counter for help, the lady behind the counter clicks clicks the PC. Meanwhile, Xinyi was like maybe they don’t have a flight today and laughs. As soon Xinyi said that, the lady behind the counters repeats what Xinyi just said, and smiles too, I’m like c’mon stop kidding around, where is the counter? She is like you think I’m joking? I’m like yeah! Cuz I’m holding the ticket on me right now! And it says today is my flight!
So the lady takes my ticket and looks at it, she looked a bit confused and calls 2 other ladies, and they look through their PCs again and looks through manual logs and stuff. And she is like, call Saudi Airlines, for a second I thought it was all a big joke, and they all decided to play along and break my leg.

With me in shock, they called Saudi airline for me, some dude who i'm pretty sure who lost his testicles answered the phone, I’m like where the fuck is my flight? (obviously I wasn’t that polite) and he asked for the PNR number, I couldn’t find the PNR number! No I mean I did find the PNR number, but it wasn’t it. After few minutes of giving him virtually all the numbers in the fucked up ticket of mine. He finally found a match, and says Mahmood AbdulGafur? I’m like fuck yeah! And he replies sir ur flight was on 24th which was last Monday, I was like what the fuck are u talking about? I confirmed this ticket last month and last week. He gives it to some old lady, she is like according our log u reconfirmed the ticket last month for November 24th. I argued back saying I didn’t. she is like can u please come to our office in KL? I’m like what? Are you fucking serious? You want me to come to KL right now? She is like so we can explain you the situation better. Eh?

Xinyi was hungry and wanted to eat, and my ass was on fire! But I couldn’t blame her, she did drive me all the way to the airport. So we ate at Mc’d
I hogged down my quarter pounder and I didn’t even touch the fries, cuz that’s around the time when I read that my visa expired in Saudi. I was like what the fuck? I called Yasir and Sabby and I told them, even they couldn’t believe it. I was stuck, my mind was blocked, I couldn’t explain it to Xinyi at first, that’s when I wished I had Sabby and Yasir were around. I was on full panic attack, then I did what I usually do when I am in a very stressful position, sit down, become extremely quiet and think. I still remember How I felt, and I feel the same just by typing this paragraph above

After we finished eating, we rushed to the parking lot, found the car, threw the luggage in and drove outta there. Fortunately Xinyi knew where Saudi airlines office was, and that saved us quite a bit of time. You do not want to get lost in KL!

So to Xinyi I was like what if I don’t get to go to Saudi ever? Honestly, in the back of my mind I was a bit happy, but my shitless scaredness of my parents finding out that I can’t ever go back home over shadowed my mini delight.

I called Yasir and he asked me to run to the embassy, and I asked him to send me the embassy address, and we realized by the time we reach the embassy it will be closed. So no point going to the embassy, Xinyi and I decided to go the next day.

So we arrived at Saudi airlines, and I see a lady, and I asked what the hell happened, she is we changed our flights date, and I’m like how come I wasn’t told? She was like we tried to call you but you wouldn’t answer. I was like hold the fuck a sec! earlier on the phone u said I re-confirmed the ticket for the 24th, what was all that shit about? she replies sorry it was a trainee who messed it up, and she hands me a ticket for Friday 7pm, I was like I need to be there by tomorrow (Thursday) not Friday! And the old lady says I’m sorry we can’t help you anymore. It was one of those moments where you wanna throw both your middle fingers up and scream FUCK YOU!

Okay so where are we? I just found out that I can’t go back to Saudi, I have a ticket to Saudi on Friday? What do I tell dad? I can’t tell him that my visa expired, so what do I do? So dad calls and asks what happen? Did I get a ticket? I’m like yes I did get a ticket but I’m on a waiting list (I had to lie). Dad asked me when does your visa expire? I’m like hmm in few days (I lied again), he yells back asking me exactly when? I’m like on Friday and told him not to worry n that I’ll be at the embassy the next day and get an extension for few days. Dad seemed a bit relieved and hung up.

On my side, I was thinking how am I gonna break the news to my parents that I aint coming back home. Imagine, you can never go back home.. you probably can’t. I was also calling Sabby a lot too, cuz I was feeling lost, and the person I usually turn to is Sabby when the warm shit is rotating around the fan.

Anyway, meanwhile I’m coming up with possible ways that I can break my news that I’m never coming home and scenarios it could lead to and how I should respond their scenarios, basically I was trying to come with ways to put out the fire as soon as possible. While I was doing that I took one last look at the fucked up passport of mine and trying to understand how can I mess up something like this, how stupid can I be! And when Yasir and I looked through our passports few months ago how come we didn’t realize such a big thing? Was it the calendar we were looking at? was it wrong? How How? And then I read the date again, I see the 22th of Zul-kaid-da in Arabic (the day the visa issued, it was 28th of zul-kaid-da on that day), n then I read 30th (the day I departed) on the side. I was like fuck! Do I still have time? I called Yasir and I explained to him that it had 2 dates, he said he will ask his dad, and he texted back with good and bad news.

Good news is that my visa did not expire, bad news it expires on Friday, my flight is on Friday 7pm and reach Saudi at 11.30pm (Saudi time) and visa expires at 12am. Do I dare take the chance? If there are any sort of delay? I’m fucked! So Yasir and Sabby advised me to go to the embassy any way and try to get extension. I didn’t wanna take the risk of going to Saudi and getting deported or worse getting stranded in the terminal, n then I started thinking of the movie the terminal, and Catherine zeta Jones ( oh and I never watched the movie).

so we head of off to Asia Café, and Xinyi wanted to eat Charkuayteow, and dropped off a box at Xinyi’s Subang house, and her racist dog as usual hated me, well the dog hates anyone who isn’t yellow.

After we ate at Asia café and Xinyi insisted on me staying at her place, I really didn’t want to cuz she’s been driving me around for 5hours. I felt really bad, after we ate I called my land lord and asked him if I can come by the apartment to take some clothes that I left. Cuz I had no clothes to wear at Xinyi’s, I threw away 80% of my clothes, actually I gave it away to charity cuz I couldn’t take it back to Saudi.

But I did leave some clothes in my cupboard, although it was quite painful to see my apartment again it hurt even more knowing that was the last time, and I couldn’t stay there for long. It hurts me to write this, I miss our apartment so much.

Anyway, I picked up some of my old clothes and socks and went off to Xinyi’s and I reached xinyi's place, and i go in and I say hi to Xinyi’s parents and they were not too happy to see me, especially her dad. I was a bit hurt and embarrassed. But I was and am extremely thankful to Xinyi for her hospitality.

I couldn’t sleep that night, I missed a person tremendously and looking through some of the pictures I took that day and the day before just made me feel worse. And I was all alone in that room, so I called Sabby more often, and later I felt bad for bothering her too and ruining her lil trip with my calls.

Thursday 27th November, we agreed on waking up at 5am because we weren’t sure about the embassy’s location. We also decided to call this guy whom I knew from Saudi his name is Hassan, I wake Xinyi and Hassan up and we head out around 5.45. while we were driving out we saw Xinyi dad on the window and man he looked pissed! Well I had bigger problems on my side, if the embassy thing doesn’t work out..I’m fucked.

We drove to Ridzuan condo(which is around my old house again), that was quite painful too, cuz Ridzuan condo is the first place I stayed when I went to Malaysia.

I asked Hassan to come down, he came down got on the car and head to the embassy. We reached the embassy by 7.30am, we talked to the security card and stuff they said the embassy opens at 9.30am. we decided to go and eat breakfast to kill some time. So we went to mc’d again. Hassan and I ordered big breakfast and Xinyi ordered the fish burger thing. I also called my cousin to look for a ticket for me that leaves on that day itself in case the embassy thing doesn’t work out.

So around 9, we head off to the embassy, and we were all making dumb jokes to ease the tension level hehe. We entered the embassy, bastards took my phone and bag, I only got to go in with my passport. And I was the 1st one there, I explained to the Malay lady what happen and that I needed extension for a day or 2. She took my passport and said the counselor will look at it.

So we sat there for 3 hours, while waiting for a response we came to a conclusion since they were taking so long with my passport, it must be good thing, probably I’m getting the extension. So we all had high hopes, and I was looking forward to spending the day the few other friends. And meet another friend on Friday before I fly off. Again that all depended on if I got the visa extension thing.

3 hours later, they call me and they gave me passport, with a “post pasted note” that says “sorry cant”. I was like what the hell man? you wasted 3 hours of my fucking time and you reply with a fucking paste note! I explained to the stupid fucker Saudi who probably never heard of tooth brush ( yes he’s teeth were fuckin dirty!!), look your national carrier made the mistake, why should I pay for it? And he says sorry that is not our fault, we can’t do anything about it. Then I asked him, Fine! What are my options? He is like why don’t you try flying in? I was like and what if the immigration bars me from going in? the retarded dirty teeth assholes smiles (that’s when I saw his teeth) and says then you go to jail. again I felt like throwing both my middle fingers and break his dirty teeth.

Xinyi and Hassan were like screw all this, let’s go find a travel agent and get a ticket, I got my phone back, and soon I turn on my phone I see 44 miss calls, I was like, holy! 22 from my cousin and 22 from dad. I called back my cousins immediately and then they started yelling at me for turning off the phone, I explained to them that it was the embassy’s policy and stuff. My cousin’s husband then tells me the found a Malaysian Airline ticket to Saudi for 3pm, I looked at the time it was nearing to one. I’m like get the ticket right now. I tell Xinyi to drive to the airport, my cousin’s husband bought the ticket and I told him to take a cab to the airport. Xinyi drove as fast she can, we reached the airport by 1pm, and my cousin reached by 1.15, I checked in by 1.25 and got my boarding pass, all a relief. But still was sad to go back at home, my fear of parents knowing that I can never come back was no more, I was sad, my cousin’s husband left the airport, and I treated Xinyi and Hassan to lunch, I offered to pay Xinyi for all the troubles I’ve caused her. and Hassan too for waking him up at 5am.

I was calling Sabby and Yasir, updating them in every move I made, anyway I took the flight to Saudi, no problems at immigration, and now I’m home,
At home, coming back home was quite hard for me, because I’m so use to Malaysian life, and the people I had around me, I miss the country, my friends, Yasir and Sabby. I’m in a bit of culture shock too, I miss the food too, usually when I come back to Saudi from Malaysia, I always feel a bit comfortable knowing that I’ll be going back in less a month, but I don’t have that anymore, I use to feel even more comfortable knowing that I can go back to someone or some people, I don’t have that anymore either. I miss everyone and the country.

And I’m sorry everyone for all the troubles I’ve caused you all.

I use to look down at people well some people, especially as a kid..people like street cleaners and fellaz who carry your groceries, and so on. I would like to believe that all had changed.

Any ways, I know it’s been a while since I wrote any rubbish on this board of infinite futility, that’s because I have been concentrating on my new sad habits like smoking, and studying for exams (well trying to).

I was at genting (I refuse to put capital G) yesterday, even though I despise theme parks, I ended up going to one, went to few measly rides, and threw out helluva amount of cash on things you wouldn’t pay shit for. Oh did I mention I was sleep deprived too? Yeah it a boring trip, I went because this would be my last trip with Yasir, and I wish it had been a better trip. Atleast the company was good! Enjoyed being around them and I guess that’s what counts.

After I got back from genting, I went to MOS (ministry of sound), with few friends of Sabbys, did I enjoy it? I dunno, I have done some stupid things in my life, but this is a new level of stupidity and I wish I can forget it. and I can honestly say it’s one of my top three things I would like to forget.

I abandoned by responsibilities, I forgot my own morals, thoughts, ethics and self-respect, and above all I was totally selfish!

I ruined everyone’s night, especially Sabby’s, I would trade yesterday for a pound of my flesh, even though that’s not enough to measure up to my level of idiocy and I don’t know what you could do with my pound of flesh, perhaps feed to a cat or something, poor kittie.. will turn vegetarian. Anyway, I was so disappointed at myself and I would give anything to take back last 24 hours. Or trade the day with everything I have or own…and if a magic lamp’s reading this, yeah u know what I want..

I am also finally convinced that I’m a selfish human being, and I am very ashamed to admit it, I use to think I was selfless, but after someone pointed out to me over and over again, and she said she expected this out of me. As much as I felt bad about it, she was right. I wish I could repay everyone for all his or her sacrifices. Did I mention she was right.
